2. What is processed and why

Visiting the website

This is a static website hosted on GitHub Pages. When a page or media file is requested, technical data necessarily reaches GitHub so it can deliver and secure the service. Depending on the request, this may include IP address, browser and device information, requested page or file, referring page, and date and time. PropertyMotion has not added its own visitor analytics and does not receive visitor-level analytics from this website.

Contacting PropertyMotion

The website’s contact links open your email application; they do not submit data through the website. If you email PropertyMotion, the data you choose to provide—such as your name, contact details, message, listing URL, photographs or other project material—is processed to answer the enquiry, prepare a quote, take requested pre-contractual steps, deliver an agreed service and keep necessary business records.

Legal basis and principles

Processing is carried out in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP), including the principles of good faith, proportionality, purpose limitation, transparency and data protection by default. Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation applies, processing is based as appropriate on steps requested before a contract, performance of a contract, legitimate interests in providing and securing the website and answering business enquiries, legal obligations, or consent where consent is required.

3. Cookies and similar storage

The privacy banner uses local storage—a browser technology similar to a cookie—only to remember whether you accepted or rejected optional cookies. This prevents the banner from appearing on every page. If the site’s optional processing changes, the consent version will be changed and you will be asked again.

You can change the recorded choice at any time through Privacy choices in the footer. You can also remove local storage through your browser settings. Rejecting optional cookies does not restrict this website.

GitHub may use its own cookies or similar technologies when operating its services. PropertyMotion neither places nor reads those technologies, and its preference control cannot disable processing that GitHub considers necessary to deliver and secure GitHub Pages. 4. Providers, recipients and international transfers

GitHub Pages

The website is hosted by GitHub, Inc. and related GitHub/Microsoft entities. GitHub describes automatic collection of service-usage information and website interactions, including IP address, device information, request time, referring site and pages viewed. GitHub also states that data may be processed in Switzerland, the United States and other countries and describes the safeguards it uses, including relevant contractual clauses and the Swiss–U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Email

PropertyMotion currently uses Gmail for correspondence. Email data is therefore processed through Google’s infrastructure and may be processed internationally according to Google’s terms and safeguards. Read Google’s Privacy Policy. Your own email provider will also process the message under its terms.

PropertyMotion does not sell personal data. Data may be disclosed where necessary to service providers supporting an agreed project, professional advisers, or public authorities when required by law. Project-specific disclosures will depend on the service agreed and should be addressed in the relevant quotation or contract.

5. Retention and security

The local consent preference expires after 180 days. Enquiries that do not lead to a project are deleted or anonymised when they are no longer reasonably needed. Contract and business correspondence may be retained for the duration required to perform the service, handle possible claims and comply with applicable statutory record-keeping duties.

Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used to protect information handled by PropertyMotion. Email and internet transmission cannot, however, be guaranteed to be completely secure. Avoid sending sensitive information that is not necessary for an initial enquiry.

6. Your rights

Subject to the conditions and exceptions of applicable law, you may request information about personal data relating to you, correction of inaccurate data, deletion, restriction or objection, and release or transfer of data in a commonly used format where applicable. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent for the future.

Send requests to info.propertymotion@gmail.com. PropertyMotion may need appropriate information to verify the requester’s identity. You may also contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC). EU residents may contact their competent supervisory authority where EU law applies.

7. Changes to this notice

This notice will be reviewed when the website, service providers or processing practices change. The date at the top identifies the current version. Material changes to optional cookie use will trigger a new choice request.
